What's Happening to Your Car's Paint?
Every paint problem has a specific cause and a specific fix. Hover any condition to see exactly what we do about it — and what it costs.
Faded & Chalky Paint
UV radiation and Nairobi's equatorial sun break down the clear coat and bleach pigment over 5–10 years. The surface turns dull, chalky, and loses depth. Touch it and white powder comes off on your hand.
Peeling & Flaking Lacquer
When clear coat adhesion fails — often on roofs, bonnets, and boot lids after 8–12 years — the lacquer begins to peel in sheets. This is not polishable. The clear coat must be stripped and reapplied.
Rust Bubbling Under Paint
Small bubbles or blisters appearing beneath the paint surface mean rust is forming under the panel. Once the paint breaks, water gets in and the rust spreads rapidly. This needs treatment before repainting.
Long-Accumulated Dents
Years of car parks, narrow roads, and minor knocks leave a history of small to medium dents. Individually they may seem minor but together they make a car look unloved. We clear the slate completely.
Deep Scratches into Primer or Metal
Scratches that reach bare metal don't just look bad — they become rust initiation points within weeks in humid conditions. They must be filled, primed, and painted, not left or just touched up with a pen.
Faded & Greying Plastic Trim
Black rubber trim, bumpers, door handles, and window surrounds turn grey and streaky with age. This is plastic oxidation, treatable with trim restorer or, for severe cases, trim respray in flexible paint.
Not every car needs to look new. It just needs to look like itself again.
